The Company

Consilium Coaching & Consulting Services Ltd, operating as Consilium CCS, was formed in 2004 to provide business coaching and project management services to those organizations facing difficult changes. The company is owned by Kirk McKay and Cristina da Silva.  Cristina operates Hawthorn Writing and Landscapes under the same coporate banner.  Check her site out at www.therealgardener.com. 

The People

Kirk McKay provides his services through Consilium CCS.  With 25 years in planning and implementing change, Kirk's career has spanned numerous industries and three different countries -- Canada, United States, and Australia. Kirk’s experience includes strategic/business plans, interim management, project management and business optimization projects.

Kirk’s focus is on promoting company growth by aligning the company’s operations with business strategy and then facilitating change through effective projects. Kirk is a certified Project Management Professional that believes it is important to relate business goals to projects and to use a business focus to motivate staff and resolve stakeholder issues.

Kirk has hands-on experience enabling growth for small business and large corporations and knows what it takes to succeed. Kirk’s experience includes management roles such as manager of systems development for a major medical lab, IT manager for a large retail catalogue company, and general manager of a software company.
